You will act as the financial backbone of the Belgian entity, while being connected to an International Group structure and reporting line based in the UK.
Job Description
As Senior Business Controller, you will own the financial control, reporting and performance management of the Belgian operations, while acting as a true business partner to the leadership team in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
Owning monthly financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, KPIs) with clear, value-added commentary to local leadership and Group
Ensuring robust financial controls, compliance and accounting accuracy under Belgian and international standards
Leading statutory accounts, audits and local tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors and Group teams
Driving budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis in close partnership with FP&A
Acting as a strategic finance partner to operations, supporting business plans, projects and investment decisions
Managing cash flow, working capital, treasury reporting and forecasts
Developing best-in-class finance processes, systems and controls
Leading, structuring and motivating a growing local finance team in a changing environment
The Successful Applicant
You are a hands-on, finance professional who enjoys combining operational finance, leadership and strategic impact.
You bring:
A Master degree in Finance / Business Management / Economics - or equivalent
At least 5 years of financial experience - Experience in Controlling is a must
Strong experience in financial controlling, reporting and compliance within a Belgian entity
Excellent management reporting and analytical skills
The ability to challenge, redesign and improve finance processes
Clear, confident communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
A proactive, autonomous mindset with the ambition to grow alongside the business
