Project Description
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is launching a strategic investment initiative to upgrade their production capabilities. This involves configuring, laying out, and implementing highly customized electromechanical manufacturing machinery, tailored to specific production needs and not off-the-shelf solutions. The project manager's goal is to connect all technical components and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely rollout of the project.
Responsibilities
 * Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the investment project, from planning and layout to implementation of new machinery.
 * Translate business objectives into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and technical engineers to ensure alignment across all project phases.
 * Coordinate installation and commissioning activities, ensuring machines are delivered and integrated effectively.
 * Monitor timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution.
 * Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues proactively.
 * Act as the communication bridge between technical teams and senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and clear reporting.
Requirements
Experience & Background:
 * Proven experience as a Project Manager in manufacturing or industrial environments.
 * Strong track record leading similar investment or machinery implementation projects.
 * Experience coordinating technical profiles, especially in electromechanical setups.
 * Pragmatic and hands-on approach; able to step in where needed without taking over execution.
 * Engineering or technical background preferred, but this is not a hands-on technical role.
Knowledge & Skills:
 * Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows and machinery integration.
 * Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
 * Able to "connect the dots" across different departments and disciplines.
 * English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 Months
Onsite Policy: 4 Days Per Week
Languages: English (Dutch is a bonus)
