Your Role: What Will You Do as a Junior Procurement Support Officer?
As a Junior Procurement Support Officer, you will become part of our central Procurement team, supporting both strategic and operational purchasing activities. You’ll work closely with our Category Managers and help streamline data, tools, and processes to strengthen our procurement function.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for data, process optimisation, and sustainable supply chains.
More specifically, you will:
* Assist Category Managers with price comparisons, RFQs, supplier analyses, and sourcing projects.
* Consolidate supplier data and monitor procurement KPIs.
* Create and maintain dashboards to track spend, savings, and compliance.
* Support the implementation of digital and AI-powered procurement tools.
* Translate procurement data into actionable insights to support negotiations.
* Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of prices, contracts, and supplier data in ERP systems (M3/SAP).
* Coordinate supplier onboarding and article management processes.
* Help embed commercial agreements into our systems and workflows.
* Contribute to ESG and sustainability initiatives (e.g. traceability, sustainable sourcing).
* Play an active role in cross-functional improvement projects.
* Provide continuity support during internal team transitions.
Your Profile: What Do You Bring?
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
* Some experience or an internship in procurement or supply chain is a plus.
* Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset.
* Fluent in Dutch and English. French is an advantage.
* Solid skills in MS Office. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. M3/SAP) is a plus.
* Interest in sustainability and ESG within the supply chain.
* You are proactive, structured and detail-oriented.
* Eager to learn, ambitious, and ready to grow within the team.
* A true team player with a hands-on mentality.
* You hold a valid EU work permit and are based in Belgium.
