The Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for the design, planning, and oversight of the organization's cloud architecture. This involves managing solutions, business, and technology architectures, and ensuring their alignment with with long-term business objectives while enabling agility and innovation in our hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and Maintaining Enterprise Architecture: creating and maintaining a comprehensive enterprise hybrid-cloud architecture that supports the organization's goals and objectives.
* Architecture Modeling and Management: defining and maintaining reference architectures and design patterns for cloud adoption across the organization.
* Strategic Alignment: ensuring that technology solutions align with business strategies and objectives.
* Collaboration and Communication: working with stakeholders across different departments and levels to understand their needs and communicate architectural decisions.
* Technology Evaluation and Recommendation: researching and evaluating emerging cloud technologies and their potential impact on the organization, recommending appropriate solutions.
* Governance and Standards: developing and implementing architectural standards and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and quality.
* Guiding, supporting and coaching of solution architects: ensuring transfer of knowledge + supporting/coaching of solution architects.
Required Qualifications:
* A proven track record of 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure architecture or other senior technology roles.
* Public Cloud expertise: Azure (essential), AWS (nice-to-have) /
* Hybrid-Cloud environment know-how.
* Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g TOGAF, Zachman)
* Must be fluent in English and French or Dutch.
* Must be based in Belgium.
* Experience in developing and implementing architectural governance processes.
