The Role and Opportunity
Sanofi’s Global Treasury Operations is a Key department within the Financing, Treasury & Insurance function delivering best-in-class Global Treasury Services including
1. Effective centralization and management of Global Liquidity,
2. In-House Bank & Payment Factory services,
3. Compliance and Control of Market Transactions managed by Treasury Front Office/Capital Market department on all Sanofi asset classes.
Within Global Treasury Operations, the Cash Manager plays a critical role in the daily management of the cash position of Sanofi Holding (Sanofi SA) as well as Sanofi Holdings entities to ensure effective centralization of the liquidity at the level of Sanofi SA. He/She also manages the execution of specific critical payments like for M&A and. contributes to the management of the intercompany current accounts and of the portfolio of Intercompany Loans.
Two Cash Managers, both reporting to the Head of Global Treasury Operations, manage the Liquidity Management responsibilities.
The Cash Managers operate at the centre of Sanofi's Treasury ecosystem, maintaining close and continuous collaboration with Treasury Front Office, Middle Office, Subsidiary Financing, Treasury Accounting, Affiliate Treasuries worldwide and Treasury GPO.

Critical responsibilities and expectations of the role
Performing Cash Management activities
4. Daily reconciliation of bank flows and bank balances for the defined perimeter including flows related to Cash repatriation and Treasury Transactions, ensuring alignment with Treasury Accounting on booking accuracy
5. Daily analysis of the actual to forecast flows for the defined perimeter and coordinate with Affiliates to analyze forecast variations
6. Daily follow-up on Bank inquiries and coordination with Banks Customer Services
7. Daily determination of the cash position of Sanofi SA and ensure optimization of Cash (minimization of idle balances) in coordination with Affiliates and Sanofi Front Office department
8. Daily gathering and consolidation of Affiliates short term forecasts
9. Daily provision of accurate short-term forecast for Sanofi SA cash position to ensure, in collaboration with the Front Office, the day-to-day liquidity, the optimization of money market instruments and gross debt / cash end-of-month
10. Ensure the execution and follow up of critical payments such as M&A payments
11. Ensure perfect coordination with In-House Bank Officers to manage the Payment Factory financing and any booking in the intercompany current accounts required as per specific transactions managed at the Cash Management level
12. Contribute to the management of intercompany current accounts and intercompany loans/borrowings.
13. Working collaboratively with other Treasury departments, acting as an escalation point for unresolved issues, provide specialist support
Analytics, Reporting & Cash Forecast
14. Manage weekly and monthly reporting complying with group requirements
15. With support of Treasury GPO team, design and develop analytics capabilities to provide insights liquidity trends, forecast accuracy and cash flow patterns and maintain cash management KPI’s and dashboard
16. Development and maintenance of treasury Operating Procedures, processes and systems, and control environment in line with best practices
Supporting transverse projects
17. Assuming responsibility of Cash Management business continuity plan
18. Ongoing monitoring (with the support of Treasury GPO) & implementation of payment-related regulations and new practices.
Acting as Key User in close collaboration with Treasury GPO
19. Identify and escalate pain points that may be subject to process improvement and share best practices
20. Identify gaps vs. existing practices, regulatory constraints, and local process dependencies
21. Ensure continued focus on process improvement, increased automation of activities and the elimination of non-value-added activities
22. Support process exception arbitration when needed and propose process workaround
23. Review process design when applicable
24. Support and Sign-off on new process testing’s (UAT)
25. Support other users by performing trainings and contributing to training material update
26. Participate to the change management plan
27. Contribute to Systems upgrades as required
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experiences in the following areas:
28. 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Treasury multinationals (Cash Management, In-House Bank) within Bank / Corporate Treasury
29. Demonstrated knowledge of cash management structures (like Zero Balancing)
30. Strong analytical skills with proven experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights
31. Advanced Excel proficiency: experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
32. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley is an asset
33. Experience with Treasury Management Systems (SAP, Others)
34. Experience with electronic banking systems / SWIFT /Payment Practices is an asset
35. Proven track record in dealing with complex issues proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to make well informed and appropriate decisions and to communicate complex information to others
36. Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate across multiple teams and geographies
37. Languages: fluent in English and French; any further language is a plus

Education
47. At least bachelor’s degree in finance / economics or similar.
48. A certificate in Treasury is a plus.

The salary range for this position is :€78 000,00 - €104 667
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
