Qargo is a tech scale‑up with offices based in London and Ghent (Belgium). We’re on a mission to transform the transportation industry by making it more efficient, profitable and sustainable. We are building the most user friendly and intuitive Transport Management System (TMS) on the market that automates administrative processes and optimizes planning. To support our growing customer base and expand our product’s connectivity with other platforms, we’re looking for a Team Lead Integrations: connectors (financials) to guide our integrations engineers in this domain.


💼 About the role

At Qargo, integrations are a key pillar of how we deliver value to our customers. In this role, you will lead a team focused on building and maintaining connectors within the financial ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication between Qargo and external systems such as accounting, factoring, and e‑invoicing platforms.

You will combine technical leadership with hands‑on collaboration, guiding your team in designing scalable and reliable integrations while supporting cross‑functional teams and external partners. Your work will directly impact how efficiently customers can onboard, operate, and scale using Qargo.

This role offers a strong mix of leadership, technical ownership, and stakeholder management, with the opportunity to shape both the team and the future of our integrations domain.


🔑 Key Responsibilities

In this role you’ll…

* Lead a team of engineers working on integrations between Qargo and external systems such in the financial domain (accounting, factoring, e‑invoicing).
* Guide the team both technically and functionally: supporting solution design, reviewing code, and ensuring scalability and maintainability of the connectors you build.
* Collaborate closely with our Customer Success teams to guarantee smooth implementation and follow‑up. You’ll design support procedures to make other teams self‑sustainable and keep engineering productivity high.
* Act as a point of contact for external partners and customers when implementing or validating new integrations.
* Drive roadmap management by providing estimations in both complexity and implementation effort for customer requirements.
* Support the professional growth of your team through mentoring, coaching, and hands‑on collaboration.


✅ Skills & Experience

* You have several years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with backend development and systems integration.
* You’ve mentored or led engineering teams before, formally or informally, and enjoy helping others grow.
* Strong understanding of APIs, system interoperability, and integration best practices (REST, GraphQL, JSON, XML, authentication standards…)
* Comfortable reading API documentation, working across team boundaries, and communicating with external stakeholders.
* You take ownership, think pragmatically, and know how to balance speed, quality, and maintainability. You’re eager to use AI to optimise time spent.
* Experience with Python and Django is a plus, but we value your approach to problem‑solving and your ability to learn quickly above specific tools.
* Familiarity with accounting or finance systems (or a curiosity to dive into them) is an asset.
