Account Manager Belgium - Valves

Business Unit & Position Summary:
The Sales Engineer Belgium is a key contributor with responsibility for sales and margin within the territory of Belgium
Principle Responsibilities:
* Sales responsibility within the defined area for all brands.
* Achievement of agreed orders, sales and shipment profit targets.
* Developing a sales forecast for each product line with reasonable accuracy.
* Advising customers on selection and use of all valves and analyzing the demand on additional applications for our products.
* Understand current market conditions and relay those in a concise manner. Report regularly to Area Sales Manager and peers.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Education: A university or college degree in a technical subject or comparable technical qualification in engineering or similar subject area at Tertiary education standard or above or experience to the same level.
* Business experience: 1-2 years minimum in valve sales (desirable).
* Chemical and Pharma Industry and Application knowledge (desirable).
* Valve and Actuation Product Knowledge (desirable).
* Proven experience of successful specification selling of this type of product into the Chemical and Pharma industries, or alternatively selling a technical product.
* Proven customer service and commercial acumen and the requisite interpersonal skills to build excellent customer relationships at all levels.
