ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Data Architect to join a leading IT company based in Belgium As the Senior Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the data strategy of the organisation to support business objectives. You will be responsible for defining data structures, governance, and best practices while ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across the organisation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Data Architect will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Design and maintain the organisation's data architecture in alignment with business and IT strategy.
2. Oversee data integration and ETL processes to ensure seamless data movement between systems.
3. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
4. Promote a culture of data literacy and awareness across departments.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Data Architect we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven industry experience in data architecture, data modelling, and database design.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Cloud data platforms (AZURE, AWS, etc.).
