Mechanical Design Engineer - Freelance - MedTech in Liege, Belgium
Our client is offering a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a quick short-term contract for 3 days per week with a high possibility for extension. This role does not require prior experience in the MedTech industry, making it an ideal chance for professionals looking to explore a new field.
Working on medical devices, you will have the opportunity to tackle obstacles and challenges seldom faced in traditional mechanical engineering roles.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components for neurological devices.
- Conduct mechanical simulations and analysis using FEA tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with medical device regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing within the medical device industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and experience with FEA tools for mechanical simulation.
