We are looking for a Supply Network Planner who is a strong team player, rigorous and result driven to join us in our Supply Chain Department, based in our UCB campus site in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
The Supply Network Planner acts as Supply Chain (SC) operations manager, for a subset portfolio of productions nodes (DS) from this supply network (CMO and Internal sites).
Who you’ll work with
The Supply Network Planner liaises with many different functions as an orchestrator of Supply Chain operations: Internal & External manufacturing, Brands & Assets supply team, Logistics, Market supply, Clinical supply and Center of Excellence (CoE)
What you’ll do
1. You develop and deliver a feasible Master Production Schedule (MPS) using advanced planning tools OMP+, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, stock policies, and capacity. You manage transactional data and control execution over the planning horizon.
2. You monitor and analyse supply performance using defined KPIs, facilitate discussions with partners, and lead root cause analysis and performance management.
3. You develop capacity views for production nodes, support mutual supply agreements, and participate in capacity extension projects and SIOP cycle meetings.
4. You lead resolution of escalated supply issues, update stakeholders on supply impacts, and support resolution within vendor teams and production sites.
5. You actively participate to process and system improvement initiatives, ensure integration of input to supply plans and perform scenario planning.
6. You build strong relationships with supply chain representatives and manage risks (provide inputs, assessments and mitigation plans).
7. You control Inventory data (determine projection and provision, perform reconciliation and destruction monitoring)
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
8. You possess a master’s degree in supply chain or other proved experience in similar role.
9. You have minimum 5 years in pharmaceuticals, with knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (Experience in manufacturing operations is advantageous).
10. You show proficiency in SAP and OMP+ (or other ERP systems).
11. You demonstrate strong skills in managing and positively influencing stakeholders at all levels.
12. You show clear oral and written communication in English, have an analytical mindset, are KPI-driven, and capable of managing complexity.
13. You have a good knowledge of GMP & GDP compliance, with demonstrated planning and constraint management capabilities.
