* Support the smooth operation of the legal department by participating in internal and external projects.
* Contribute to improving legal methodologies and tools within the department.
* Conduct ongoing legal monitoring of national and European regulations and case law.
* Provide legal support and advice to various departments on projects and company activities.
* Draft legal memos and recommendations to help operational teams anticipate regulatory changes.
* Assist in the negotiation and drafting of contracts involving the bank.
* Collaborate with external lawyers on litigation cases.
Profiel
* Master's degree in Law, with at least 5 years of professional experience in legal functions.
* Strong familiarity with banking and financial regulations, including civil law and contract law.
* Knowledge of bank accounts, payment services, fraud case management, and succession matters (e.g., account opening/closure, provisional administration, daily banking).
* Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with management and teams.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and workload.
* A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a solid legal and business perspective.
* Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
* Adaptability and openness to change and continuous learning.
* Proficiency in Dutch
