About the role
For its Sales Professional department, my client is looking for a Project Account Manager for the Brussels, Walloon Brabant, Hainaut and Namur regions.
After an in-depth training period, you will be responsible for developing business on the specification market. Through strong field presence, technical expertise and relationship-building skills, you will establish long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
5. Manage existing client relationships and develop new commercial opportunities within the Professional division.
6. Work closely with key architects, project owners and contractors in your region, supported by tailored account plans.
7. Visit painting companies to support ongoing projects and contribute to network development, including the organisation of events.
8. Promote product ranges to a portfolio including architects, project developers, general contractors and public organisations such as hospitals, schools, nursing homes, cities and municipalities.
9. Analyse client needs, provide technical advice and propose customised solutions (colours, technical data sheets, environmental aspects and project specifications).
10. Support clients throughout the execution of projects and construction sites, from small to large-scale developments.
11. Continuously identify new opportunities to optimally position the product portfolio.
12. Participate in monthly sales meetings and collaborate closely with internal teams, technical support and the Sales Manager.
About the ideal candidate
You have at least years of experience in a technical BB sales role, ideally within the construction sector or the specification market. You have a strong affinity with premium product ranges and a solid technical understanding of construction and finishing environments.
You are a true hunter with lobbying skills and combine enthusiasm, energy and an entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial credibility. You are results-driven, able to identify client needs accurately and negotiate at different levels, from project owners to architects.
You value autonomy, take initiative and naturally adopt a solution-oriented mindset. You are fluent in French and are comfortable working with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
