Innovation Architect
As Innovation Architect, your mission is to provide architectural leadership and technological guidance in order to support business digital transformation, by promoting the adoption of emerging technologies, ensuring architectural coherence.
Support the innovation team and business and become the glue between the exploration of disruptive market and the reality of industrializing and potential productization of the solution if the exploration is successful with safe to faile approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (non-exhaustive list)
As Innovation Architect, your responsibility is :
Architecture ownership
* Analyze technical and functional requirements, in order to contribute to the design of scalable and secure software architecture to support innovative initiatives
* Define coding standards and architectural guidelines in order to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality across all development efforts.
* Review designs and codes in order to identify issues early, share knowledge, and uphold technical excellence.
* Promote the design of reusable and modular components in order to reduce duplication, accelerate development, and simplify maintenance
* Monitor and address technical debt in order to maintain long-term code quality and reduce future development costs and risks
* Ensure solutions are designed and implemented with appropriate safeguards in order to meet the organization's requirements for security, scalability, and system performance.
Across teams' collaboration
* Work closely with product managers and stakeholders in order to understand business needs and ensure technology solutions deliver real value
* Analyze business problems and identify technical solutions in order to turn challenges into innovation and strategic opportunities
* Guide development teams throughout the implementation phase in order to ensure that solutions are implemented in line with design principles and business goals
* Actively participate in agile ceremonies and innovation workshops in order to align teams, encourage collaboration and foster a continuous improvement mindset
* Promote a devOps and automation tools in order to accelerate delivery cycles and improve software quality and reliability
Innovation and emerging technologies
* Remain aware of the cutting-edge technology in order to foster the innovation culture and promote disruptive alternative solutions and support existing tools and in-house frameworks.
* Choose appropriate technologies and architectural patterns in order to ensure the delivery of robust, efficient, and future-proof solutions that support innovation and business needs
* Integrate cloud-native principles (containerization, microservices, etc) into solution design in order to enhance system scalability, agility, and resilience
* Design and evolve software systems in order to support current business objectives and long-term scalability
Maintain clear and accessible records of architectural decisions and communicate them clearly to stakeholders in order to facilitate transparency, stakeholder understanding, and effective implementation across teams.
Profile
As Innovation Architect, you bring :
* Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent by experience with At least 5 years of experience as a senior IT engineer (DevOps) or architect (Cloud)
* Very good knowledge in the following technologies: nodejs, kubernetes, serverless, AWS, Azure, Terraforms, Ansible...
* Anticipate emerging trends and evaluate their relevance for the organization and be able to balance complexity and simplicity in technical design, thinking in terms of real-world impact
* Positive mindset, thinking out of the box and structuring complex systems into coherent, scalable, and secure solutions
* Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
