Position Summary

Our Outside Parts Sales Associates serve as brand ambassadors to commercial fleets, independent repair shops, municipalities, and more. They are responsible for growing our parts' business through strategic outreach, strong relationships, and value-driven solutions across a defined territory. This role requires a strong understanding of the medium- and heavy-duty truck market, along with the professionalism, integrity, and customer-first mindset that define Kriete Truck Centers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management
Build and grow customer relationships with through regular visits, phone calls, and ongoing support.
Serve as the primary point of contact for parts needs and service inquiries within your territory.
Identify customer pain points and offer tailored solutions through Kriete Truck Centers
Maintain detailed customer records and profiles in our DMS Procede.
Sales Growth & Business Development
Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, prospecting, and referrals.
Promote OEM and aftermarket truck parts, preventative maintenance solutions, and service offerings.
Execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
Track customer buying habits and vendor purchasing activity to regain lost business.
Educate customers on current promotions, vendor programs, and available inventory.

Operational Execution

Submit any call reports, visit logs, timesheets, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time deliveries.
Assist with parts returns, warranty issues, and disputes as needed.
Ensure pricing, credit, and delivery policies adhere to company standards.
Follow all company safety protocols when visiting customer sites and operating company vehicles.
Utilize various OEM programs to effectively locate the correct parts for our customers.
Any additional duties as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications & Skills

Basic knowledge of truck systems (diesel engines, driveline, air brake systems, suspension) preferred
Strong customer service skills with proven sales ability and a customer-first mindset
Proven ability to manage a territory and work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and DMS systems, with the ability to learn others if needed

Education & Work Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in medium- or heavy-duty truck parts, service, or equipment sales.
Experience using customer relationship management tools or digital sales platforms is a plus.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
