For their Aftermarket Division in Lummen (B) we are looking for a Product Manager Exhaust & Towbars
The main purpose of the Product Manager role is to develop and implement product strategies that align with company goals and market demands. This involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from market research and product development to launch and performance analysis. The goal is to ensure the products meet quality standards, satisfy customer needs, and drive market growth. Essentially, the Product Manager acts as the bridge between various teams and stakeholders to bring innovative and high- quality products to the market successfully.
Key areas of responsibilities:
* Product Strategy: Develop and implement product strategies, aligning with company goals and market demands.
* Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
* Product Life Cycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from market research and product development to launch and performance analysis. Creation, management and follow-up of product plan. Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop new products and improve existing ones. Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
* Project Management: Manage product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
* Sales and Marketing Support: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop product marketing materials, sales strategies, and training programs. Provide product expertise and support to sales teams and customers.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and customers, to ensure successful product launches, ongoing product success and information delivery.
Competencies:
* Understanding or willingness to learn of exhaust systems and towbar components, including their design, functionality, and market trends.
* Ability to conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
* Strong skills in managing product development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Proficiency in analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product strategies and improvements.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English) to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience:
* Minimum qualification level bachelors degree
* Proven experience in a simular function
* Experience within the Automotive Aftermarket business is a plus
