About the Opportunity
An American law firm is expanding its Brazil-based support team and seeking talented, English‑fluent professionals to join our operations in São Paulo (Avenida Paulista) and Florianópolis (Centro). We handle U.S.-based cases and client communications, and we're looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced legal environment. We are hiring for three roles: Licensed Attorneys, Case Managers, and Administrative Assistants.
Location & Work Model
São Paulo – Avenida Paulista, Monday–Friday | Weekends off. Hybrid model: up to 4 remote workdays per month.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, proofread, and file legal documents including notices, subpoenas, and correspondence.
* Maintain and organize electronic case files and support case management workflows.
* Schedule appointments and coordinate communications with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, outside counsel, and court personnel.
* Obtain client signatures on legal and medical authorization forms.
* Assist attorneys with case preparation and general legal administrative tasks.
Requirements
* Fluent English is mandatory (minimum proficiency 9/10). Resume and application must be submitted in English.
* Licensed Attorneys: Valid OAB license (Brazil) required.
* Case Managers / Administrative Assistants: College degree or at least 3 years of relevant office experience.
* Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Office Suite; experience with legal case‑management software is a plus.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Conversational Spanish is a bonus but not required.
* Immediate availability preferred.
Compensation
* Beginner (No experience): Starting at USD $900/month.
* Junior (0–2 years experience): Starting at USD $1,200/month.
* Mid‑Level (2–4 years experience): Starting at USD $1,400/month.
* Senior (4+ years experience): Starting at USD $1,700/month.
* Additional pay for candidates with U.S. law‑firm experience.
