The finance manager manages the finance operations of the Anthony Martin group. The key responsibilities are leading the accounting team, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, fiscal optimization, ensuring accurate management reporting, managing cash flow, taking ownership of the budgeting process, risk management and working together with stakeholders to drive cost-reduction strategies. The Finance manager acts as business partner for the different entities and departments of the Anthony Martin group.
Key responsibilities
Lead the accounting team, ensure that the accounting team executes the processes in line with the legal and fiscal framework in place. The team consists of 5 FTE's, managing 10+ legal entities and a turnover of +50Mio Euro.
Budgeting and forecasting: Leads the budgeting process, alignment of the budget with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure an accurate forecast for future financial needs.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide monthly financial reporting towards the business. Analyze the data and flag discrepancies / trends. Challenge budget owners in case of discrepancies/trends to ensure budget adherence, forecast accuracy.
Internal stakeholder management: Act like a business partner for the internal departments. Support the business in making business cases, daily operational support from finance point of view...
External stakeholder management: Manage relations with different financial institutions (banks, investment partners...) and strategic relationships (Auditors, strategic vendors...)
Cash flow management: Manage the accounts receivable/accounts payable and the different credit lines available. Monitor the cash flow carefully while ensuring a proper cashflow forecast process.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to accounting procedures and financial controls. Using the Kaizen methodology to challenge the status quo.
Skills and qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years' experience in a leadership role related to accounting, banking, controlling or general finance.
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or economics. Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Skills: Strong analytical and leadership skills. Strong communication skills. Stakeholder management. Change management.
Mindset: Curious and eager to understand the full business context of the group, with strong learning agility across operations, finance, and governance.
Hands-on and close to the field, while maintaining a clear helicopter view across a dozen legal entities, including international activities within the EU.
Open-minded and balanced in a family business environment with multiple family members involved—able to navigate differing perspectives with tact, respect legacy, and contribute objectively.
Pragmatic and solution-oriented, combining emotional intelligence with professional rigour.
IT: Strong Excel skills, Experience working with ERP software (SAP, ODOO, Microsoft dynamics...), Experience with AI tools is a plus.
