About the Role We’re seeking an experienced
Freelance Mechanical Engineer
to support
tank storage and process installation projects
for one of our key industrial clients. You’ll take ownership of detailed mechanical design work using
PTC Creo, ensuring all equipment, piping, and structural components meet project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities Develop and optimise
mechanical designs
for storage tanks, piping systems, and process equipment using
Creo. Perform
strength and tolerance calculations, and ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with industry codes. Prepare and review
fabrication drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Coordinate with
project managers, process engineers, and construction teams
to align design deliverables with project timelines. Provide
technical support
during fabrication, assembly, and installation phases.
Requirements Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent experience. Proven experience in
tank storage ,
pressure vessels, or
process plant design. Strong proficiency with
PTC Creo (3D modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings). Familiar with
industry standards
such as API 650, EN 14015, or ASME. Ability to work
independently
and manage deliverables within project deadlines. Dutch or English fluency required; both is a plus.
