AI Delivery Lead – Faktion | AI Solutions & Advisory
As a AI Delivery Lead at Faktion, you join an industry leader in designing and developing enterprise-level AI solutions across various sectors. In this role you bring a technical background as a data scientist or machine learning expert, translating statistical and machine learning models into robust, production‑grade solutions that optimize business processes across industries. Your responsibility is to ensure these models perform optimally, driving innovation and delivering premium solutions to our clients in collaboration with our Machine Learning experts and Project Managers. You help lay a solid foundation for our clients, empowering them to make strategic, data‑informed decisions, advance our technological frontiers, and enrich the knowledge base of your peers.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as tech lead on projects, guiding ML and software development colleagues on technical and client‑related aspects and improving our company’s technical offering.
* Translate customer business needs into comprehensive technical solutions and designs.
* Coordinate internal development planning, translating ML and software engineering efforts into planning, budget and scope impacts.
* Investigate latest machine learning research and lead internal assessment and integration of innovative tools and frameworks.
* Ensure high‑standard completion of projects managed by your team.
* Provide technical mentorship to junior machine learning engineers.
* Conduct workshops for clients, showcasing your knowledge and skills.
* Assist the sales team in qualifying and securing new projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in native Dutch and English (French is a plus).
* Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on NLP.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
* Extensive experience with NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
* Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Experience with cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure is a plus).
Additional Qualifications
* Proven track record of developing and deploying scalable machine learning models.
* Publications in relevant AI/ML conferences and journals.
* Experience working with LLM and foundational models.
* Experience mentoring and leading technical teams.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
