Luminex Network Intelligence is looking for a Program Manager Product Development to become the operational heartbeat of our product lifecycle. You will work in close tandem with our internal Product Manager — who owns the strategic and commercial direction of our portfolio — and together form the engine behind every product we bring to market. Your focus is execution: keeping every department aligned, every milestone visible, and every launch on track.
This is a builder's role. You will design and embed a structured product development process across a fast-moving, technically driven organization. You'll work closely with Product Management, R&D, Operations, Quality, Marketing, and Sales — making sure the right things happen at the right time, without becoming a bottleneck yourself.
Key deliverables
* Own the operational rhythm of our New Product Development gate process across all active projects — typically 5 full projects and 5 smaller initiatives running in parallel
* Maintain a living project plan per product: milestones, owners, deadlines — and keep it honest
* Run structured weekly follow-ups with department leads to surface blockers early and keep momentum
* Prepare and facilitate monthly gate meetings: agenda, status overview, open items — so product managers can focus on decisions, not logistics
* Proactively identify risks and escalate when a project is at risk of missing its gate — before it becomes a crisis
* Build a monthly one-page dashboard for the management team: which projects are on track, which need attention, who owns what
* Drive launch readiness across all workstreams — certifications, packaging, documentation, service plans, warehouse readiness, sales forecasts — well ahead of launch
* Build and continuously improve the tools, templates and habits that make the process repeatable and scalable
Required competencies
* Close collaboration with a strategic counterpart: you work as one unit with the internal Product Manager, complementing each other's strengths — they own the product vision and commercial decisions, you own the process and the follow-through. The best tandems make each other look good
* Cross-functional coordination: you connect people across departments and keep them aligned without having direct authority over any of them
* Structured follow-through: you track what was agreed, follow up consistently, and close open loops — week after week, without losing energy
* Proactive communication: you don't wait for problems to surface — you flag risks early, propose solutions, and keep the right people informed
* Comfortable with ambiguity: in a growing company, not everything is defined. You create clarity where there isn't any, rather than waiting for it
* Pragmatic mindset: you know when good enough is better than perfect, and you keep projects moving rather than letting the ideal be the enemy of the done
* Diplomatic but direct: you can tell a senior stakeholder that their input is blocking a project — calmly, clearly, and constructively
* 5+ years of experience in cross-functional project or program management, ideally in a product development or manufacturing context
* Familiarity with stage-gate or similar structured product development processes is a strong advantage
* Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus

* Predictable product launch planning and reporting

* Management dashboards used as a standard decision-making tool
