Greetings From AmpstekHiring: L1 / L2 Engineer (Desktop Support)Location: Mechelen, Belgium (On-site)Duration: 12 MonthsDrop your CV at: shrutika.b@ampstek.comJob Summary:Key Responsibilities:Respond to user requests for technical support in person, via phone, or email.Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers.Support basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and peripheral devices.Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage hardware check-in/check-out.Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or external support vendors as necessary.Install and update operating systems, software, and security patches.Document issues, resolutions, and updates in the IT ticketing system.Provide basic training and support to users on software and hardware use.Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, such as setting up new user workstations and disabling accounts.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or related field preferred).Basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used software applications.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to learn and grow in a technical support environment.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Good organizational and time-management skills.
