Lead the next growth phase of a fast-growing global software company. As COO, you'll scale international operations, strengthen delivery and service excellence, and partner with the CEO to drive sustainable, customer-focused growth.
Your responsibilities and tasks
1. Lead the full Operations organisation (Implementation, Customer Support and Training & Enablement) and transform it into a scalable, predictable and internationally consistent delivery function.
2. Define and implement the Operations operating model, including governance, decision rights, performance management and clear accountability across the customer lifecycle.
3. Ensure successful delivery of complex international software implementations by driving execution excellence, resource planning, capacity management and operational predictability.
4. Build a scalable global delivery architecture, including the development of a partner ecosystem and external delivery capabilities to support continued growth.
5. Strengthen and develop the operational leadership team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, performance and continuous improvement.
6. Act as a strategic member of the leadership team, aligning Operations with Product, Engineering, Commercial and People priorities while contributing to the long-term evolution of the organisation.
Your background and experience
7. Proven senior leadership experience in Operations, Delivery, Professional Services, or a comparable customer-facing execution environment.
8. Strong understanding of enterprise software businesses with significant implementation and services components, ideally in international and multi-stakeholder environments. Experience in regulated, mission-critical environments is considered a strong advantage.
9. Demonstrated expertise in delivery governance, operating model design, resource and capacity planning, and operational performance management.
10. Track record of building, scaling, or transforming delivery and services organisations, while maintaining execution quality in live customer environments.
11. Experience developing and managing partner ecosystems, systems integrators, or other external delivery models at scale.
12. Fluent in English; Dutch is preferred. Flexibility and willingness to travel 20% of your time.
