What you will do
As our new Upgrades Projects Delivery Manager, your main tasks will be to
1. Be main responsible for managing a diverse team, business/projects with a big and complex scope in the region and lead project management of advanced and complex Upgrades solutions by being directly involved in the full project-life-cycle from pre-project to execution and implementation of the quoted project.
2. Support Services Sales during the UCC phase by providing technical, engineering, and financial expertise in quoting Upgrade solutions—conducting analysis, pricing, and margin calculations, ensuring compliance with local legal and commercial policies, contributing to value propositions aligned with customer needs, participating in customer presentations when required, and following up with Market Operations and Upgrades Centre of Expertise to track proposals and identify opportunities for new business.
3. Be responsible to secure a clear alignment with the involved stakeholders such as Market Operations, Upgrades CoE, PSE Business Streams, PSE projects and automation delivery organizations, CSO and suppliers, to flawlessly implement the offered solution to agreed margins and timescales including design, purchase, installation and commissioning.
4. Lead the follow-up on the project activities and performance of the Upgrades delivery projects portfolio. Secure resources, manage the stakeholders, recognize sales in SAP, manage costs and budget. Lead Upgrade Project Governance meetings and Opportunity Review Pulse meetings according to agreed rules and initiate mitigating actions as and when required. Maintain SAP/Excel systems for all aspects of the Projects.
5. Lead and develop a team of Project professionals, ensuring successful delivery of complex Upgrade projects through clear goal-setting, regular feedback, and performance reviews. You’ll drive competence development by identifying skill gaps, supporting training, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You’ll also manage resource allocation, promote best practice sharing, and support career growth to build a high-performing and engaged team.
We believe you have
6. At least 5 years of relevant experience
7. Degree in Engineering (Process engineering, Electrical or Mechanical engineering or Production engineering) automation background is a plus.
8. Fluent in English and French, Dutch is a plus
9. Experience in the dairy and beverage industries
10. Experience in leading governance meetings
11. Proven technical and process knowledge in Food & Beverage Engineering
12. Engineering Know-How in Processing and Packaging solutions
13. Excellent commercial and business skills
14. Able to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels and capable of managing their expectations.
15. Good team worker/leader
16. Results and customer satisfaction orientated with an ability to work in time-pressured environments
17. Ability to handle difficult situations and people sensitively
18. Good time management skills
19. Office-based with travel to the customer (30% of working time)
