They are looking to recruit a Director Facilities Management for their Belgian and international sites. The Director will lead a large team of maintenance engineers, technicians and personnel, both employees and subcontractors, that are responsible for complex technical equipment and infrastructure, ranging from laboratories over HVAC, water and waste treatment, energy optimisation, to building maintenance. It is an important position that is key in the operational continuity of the company as well as the environmental safety. The estimated value of the technical assets is several hundreds of millions.
The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in a technical field, experience in a technical and facilities management role in a high-tech or production environment and is a seasoned people manager, excelling in collaboration and engaging teams and has a decisive, hands-on, pragmatic, and problem-solving attitude. Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.
