Rotating Equipment Engineer
In this role, you will provide technical support from a mechanical engineering perspective. You will be closely involved in the overhauls of pumps, gearboxes, and screw compressors.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Following up on inspections and overhauls, taking into account work scope and deadlines
* Measuring and drafting parts that need to be replaced, with or without the support of colleagues within engineering, using the latest measuring techniques
* Analyzing available data and identifying possible root causes that have led to damage
* Ordering the correct parts in time and consulting with suppliers on technical matters
* Providing qualitative solutions from an engineering perspective
Main Tasks
* Inspect and maintain rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Draft and implement plans for overhaul and maintenance activities
* Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve project goals
* Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics or a related field
* Solid theoretical knowledge base and eagerness to learn
* Relevant experience working with rotating equipment
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, PTC Creo, and other relevant software
* Ability to manage people and work independently
* No 9-to-5 mentality required
