Reporting to the Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
* Preparation and or review of Local Financial statements for the Benelux entities
* Coordinating accounting and transactional activities with the Shared Service Center (SSC)
* Overseeing VAT declarations with support from external advisers and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Supporting payroll processes in collaboration with HR and external providers across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
* Assisting with external audits and acting as a key point of contact for auditors
* Following up on accounts payable topics in close cooperation with procurement and internal stakeholders
* Contributing to the implementation of a new Oracle ERP system
You have a solid finance background and enjoy working in a coordinating and multi-stakeholder environment:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
* 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis or a similar role
* Good understanding of accounting processes and VAT; knowledge of corporate income tax is a plus
* Comfortable working with shared service centers without direct people management
* Strong Excel skills and interest in systems and process optimization
* Fluent in English and Dutch mandatory
