About the Role
As a
Technical Analyst
, you will actively contribute to various projects within the development team, as well as support production Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities in the investment domain. You will play a key role in ensuring that technical solutions are well-designed, implemented, and maintained to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
* Analyse the technical implications of new or modified functionality and translate them into a comprehensive technical design in collaboration with the architecture team.
* Validate developed solutions to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure the technical quality and robustness of delivered software.
* Provide ongoing support and maintenance for programs placed in production.
* Investigate and analyse production issues from a technical perspective, proposing effective solutions.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation of the technical aspects of projects.
Technical Skills
* 6+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst with proven track record in software development and production support.
* Strong experience with Java, C++, or SQL.
* Familiarity with development frameworks such as Quarkus, Angular, or Vue is a plus.
* Practical experience with web services (REST and SOAP) and associated testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
* Experience working with YAML and WSDL.
* Proficiency in Office applications, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira.
Other Professional Skills
* Fluency in Dutch or French, along with proficiency in English.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
