Commercial Quality Manager

Are you a food quality professional with passion to serve customers and lead an international team of commercial quality specialists? We are now seeking for a Commercial Quality Manager located in Belgium. You will be based in Roeselare in Belgium and report to the Head of Customer Service and Commercial Quality.
Your mission
In this role you will lead and coordinate food safety and quality requests and complaints from customers and consumers, building trust through fast, professional resolution and robust processes. You will ensure the products we sell are food-safe, compliant with regulation, and aligned with customer requirements and consumer needs, while securing regulatory compliance via accurate product information and verified artwork/labeling for Customer Brands. The role plays an important part withing our growth journey.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Commercial Quality team and actively contribute as a member of the Quality Leadership Team (Q LT).
* Drive the global Quality and Customer Experience vision and strategy
* Manage end-to-end processes for responding to Quality and Food Safety questions and complaints from customers and consumers, ensuring clear and efficient tools.
* Lead customer communication together with commercial teams in customer impacting quality cases, including support for recalls, withdrawals or any other
* Ensure regulatory compliance for product changes and new product development projects, collaborating closely with Regulatory Affairs and other stakeholders.
* Promote continuous improvement by working with internal and external partners (Commercial, QA, SC, R&D) to optimize cross-functional workflows.
* Act as a key interface with internal teams (Customer Service, QA, Operations, Sustainability) and external bodies (customers, authorities, industry organizations, EU Commission, certification bodies).
What we expect
* Master's Degree in Bio‑Engineering, Food Science or Food Technology or equivalent
* Experience: 5+ years in the food industry and 5+ years in a leadership role, with strong project management skills.
* Expertise: Solid knowledge of food regulations and food law.
* Communication: Fluent in English with excellent business communication skills. All other languages are considered as plus
* Core competencies: Strategic thinking, decision-making, team development, influencing across the organization, and driving results.
* Knowledge in CRM system, such as Sales Force is seen as a plus
