Solution Architect - Role Overview
As a key member of the growing Belgium Applications Development and Maintenance (ADM) Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will be responsible for architecting Managed Services solutions across both the public and private sectors. You will collaborate closely with our Sales teams to design innovative, business-driven, and market-leading solutions encompassing transition, service delivery, application development, transformation, and financial modeling. These solutions will support both new client acquisition and the expansion of existing client relationships.
You will act as a strategic representative of Capgemini’s ADM capabilities in the Belgian market, fostering strong relationships with clients and technology partners, and promoting the ADMnext portfolio and broader Capgemini offerings.
Working in close partnership with Market Unit Sales and Delivery teams, you will be accountable for crafting differentiated, competitive, and risk-mitigated solutions aligned with the strategic growth objectives of the Belgian business unit. Your expertise will span all facets of ADM solutions, including innovation, transformation, commercial structuring, risk management, contractual frameworks, resource planning, staff transition, and service onboarding.
Your focus will be on securing large-scale ADM engagements (typically exceeding €20 million), involving multi-technology environments such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, legacy systems, and COTS platforms. You will be well-versed in modern delivery methodologies including Agile, DevOps, Automation, Product-centric Delivery, and SIAM.
You will also contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies, pipeline expansion, and revenue growth initiatives in collaboration with Market Unit leadership.

* Lead the design and delivery of ADM client propositions, collaborating with Capgemini’s global practices and service lines.
* Develop strategic, cross-sector ADM solutions tailored to client needs.
* Build client trust through effective communication, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
* Create compelling value propositions that articulate strategic, operational, technical, and financial benefits.
* Ensure alignment between service offerings and client business objectives, adapting solutions as opportunities evolve.
* Consolidate inputs from subject matter experts into cohesive, compliant proposals.
* Develop and validate cost models and financial estimates for internal approval.
* Oversee proposal development, commercial structuring, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
* Manage all solution components, providing leadership and direction to bid teams.
* Promote the use of strategic ADMnext offerings in client engagements.
* Support business development activities with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities.
* Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients on ADM transformation.
* Share knowledge and best practices across the ADM CoE team.
* Align closely with Sales teams to ensure ADM expertise is effectively leveraged in pursuits.
* Identify and advocate for ADM-led opportunities in client engagements.
* Report to the Bid Manager/Director and the Head of the Belgium ADM CoE.
YOUR PROFILE
* Proven ability to operate autonomously while contributing effectively in team environments.
* Strong commercial acumen and a successful track record in designing ADM services across global delivery models.
* Experience in both public and private sector engagements, including formal procurement and relationship-based solutioning.
* Deep understanding of executive-level challenges in ADM and the ability to propose resonant solutions.
* Demonstrated success in supporting Sales teams in securing large-scale ADM deals.
