Assignments
We are looking for a Test Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and analysis of product validation tests for one of our clients in the automotive/hybrid transmission sector.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Converting test requests into concrete test procedures and defining necessary test equipment
* Translating abstract test needs into structured test plans
* Executing parts of the extended product design validation plan and ensuring milestones are met
* Converting mid-to-long-term planning into weekly tasks and solving roadblocks to maintain efficiency
* Preparing, coordinating, performing data analysis, and reporting development test results
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and solve technical issues
* Supporting compliance with quality requirements, including ISO 17025
The profile
Background
You hold a Master's degree in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
Must Have
* Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive testing and test facilities
* Familiarity with Hybrid Powertrains or Automatic Transmission
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on approach
* Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical issues
* Fluent in English (oral and written)
* Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have
* Experience with VECTOR CANape, CANalyser, AVL-CRETA, INCA, Matlab
* Customer-focused, flexible, persistent, and goal-oriented mindset
* Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D
* Previous experience in automotive or high-tech manufacturing environments
