About the Role
Join an innovative project shaping the future of GIS operations! As a GIS Data Specialist, you will lead the intelligence ecosystem, manage data workflows and drive product development for 3D subsurface modeling and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the product roadmap and backlog for subsurface intelligence
* Design and manage structured geotechnical and environmental data models
* Coordinate implementation of 3D modeling and visualization tools
* Ensure data governance, integration, and accessibility
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor/Master in Geology, Geotechnics, Applied Geosciences, or related field
* 3–5 years’ experience in data management, geotechnical research, or GIS projects
* Strong knowledge of SQL, GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS), and 3D visualization
* Excellent communication skills (Dutch/English)
1. Nice to Have
* Experience with 3D geological modeling software
* Knowledge of groundwater and contamination modeling
* Affinity with AI/ML and cloud platforms
