Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project. This position requires strong leadership in construction management, a focus on health and safety, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes through collaboration and problem solving.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Project Manager to support overall schedule management and deliveryAct as a visible safety leader onsite, actively participating in day-to-day health and safety management and auditingManage project closeout processes and documentation, ensuring requirements are met for final approvalCollaborate with stakeholders to capture all variations and ensure accurate cost reporting to the clientEnsure resources are aligned to meet current and future project demandsLead and participate in key meetings to monitor progress, resolve challenges, and communicate impacts to stakeholdersLiaise with teams in Quality Assurance, Commissioning, and Environmental Health & Safety to ensure successful project deliveryTrack and manage all project costs, including labour, materials, plant, equipment, variations, and valuationsOversee subcontractor performance, ensuring progress is in line with schedule and labour requirementsLead overall site construction with emphasis on logistics and handoverMonitor daily site activities, manage information flow, and report on progress, quality, and safety issuesRequirementsExperienced in managing large-scale construction projects with increasing levels of responsibilityHold a degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related disciplineStrong knowledge of the full design and construction lifecycleHold or be working towards a relevant professional certification (support available if required)Proven track record of successfully coordinating and delivering major construction projectsSkilled at mobilising people and teams to drive successful outcomesEffective in building strong working relationships across complex project structures, clients, and internal stakeholders
