SAP Programme Release Manager – SAP – Belgium – Hybrid

Amoria Bond is looking for an experienced SAP Programme / Release Manager to support a large-scale SAP transformation. You will play a key role in guiding the programme through build, testing, deployment, and release cycles, ensuring alignment between business, IT, and implementation partners.
This is a freelance assignment starting in April, with long-term visibility through a multi-phase rollout running toward mid-2027.
Role Overview
As a Programme / Release Manager, you act as the central coordination point across SAP workstreams, business stakeholders, and technical teams. The SAP blueprint phase is nearing completion, and the programme is transitioning into build, validation, and deployment.
With increasing complexity and workload, strong programme governance, structured release management, and senior oversight are required. You will ensure that all phases — from building, configuration and testing to cutover and hypercare — are managed in a controlled, compliant, and business-aligned way.
You are expected to provide clear direction, maintain delivery structure, and proactively address risks and dependencies across the landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee SAP build and configuration fine-tuning activities
• Coordinate functional design validation with business owners
• Manage and structure testing phases, including dialog testing and tester coordination
• Supervise data cleansing activities and Master Data uploads within the MDM landscape
• Ensure integration alignment across multiple satellite systems
• Drive change management and user adoption initiatives
• Coordinate training needs analysis and training material development
• Manage release planning, road mapping, and dependency tracking
• Lead cutover planning and support hypercare execution
• Provide structured programme governance during critical decision moments
• Maintain alignment across a multi-phase rollout (3 phases) toward final go-live mid-2027
Your Profile
• Proven experience as an SAP Programme Manager or Release Manager
• Solid understanding of SAP landscapes and programme culture
• Ability to quickly grasp complex environments and manage cross-functional stakeholders
• Comfortable navigating delicate programme phases and key decision milestones
• Strong organizational and governance skills
• Excellent communication skills; able to guide, convince, and train key users
• Proactive, structured, and capable of maintaining oversight under pressure
• Fluent in Dutch & English
