We are looking for a C&Q Engineer in Geel to support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities for engineering projects. The role focuses on ensuring that systems, equipment, and processes are installed, commissioned, and qualified according to industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, execute, and document commissioning, qualification, and validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for equipment and systems.
* Ensure compliance with internal standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and project managers to ensure smooth handover from installation to operational readiness.
* Identify and resolve issues during commissioning and qualification phases.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in C&Q procedures and documentation.
* Provide guidance and training for junior team members when required.
Your Profile
* Technical background in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.
* Experience in commissioning, qualification, or validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) is preferred.
* Open to a mix of experience levels: junior, medior, and senior. Senior profiles may be expected to mentor and guide less experienced colleagues.
* Fluent in English (Dutch is not required).
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a project team.
