Functiebeschrijving As the Sustainability Manager, you will play a critical role in implementing the firm's sustainability initiatives across its global business units. Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sustainability strategies to ensure compliance with key regulations, such as the CSRD and CSDDD. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, advancing projects that foster engagement and alignment with sustainability goals, with varying levels of maturity across business units. This is a unique opportunity to shape sustainability practices within a growing, forward-thinking organization. Profiel Minimum 5 years working experience focused on sustainability. Proven track record of managing sustainability projects and improving sustainability practices. Strong experience with sustainability reporting, data analysis, and regulatory compliance (CSRD, ISSB, TCFD, GRI). Ability to work across a decentralized organizational structure, with varying levels of sustainability engagement. Experience in private equity-backed or consulting is a strong plus. Strong communication skills for collaborating across senior management and diverse departments. Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate both big-picture and operational details. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
