The IoT Sales Pro is responsible for driving the sales of
Internet of Things (IoT)
products and services. This position involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IoT industry, be able to communicate the benefits of IoT solutions to potential customers effectively, and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the
Construction market
.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a sales strategy that meets or exceeds sales targets
* Identify and prioritise sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
* Conduct research on potential clients and industry trends to develop effective sales pitches
* Understand and effectively communicate the benefits of IoT solutions to potential clients
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up
* Collaborate with the technical team to ensure that client needs are met.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
* Provide regular sales reports and updates to management
* Attend conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to promote IoT products and services
* Work closely with marketing and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
* Proven sales experience, preferably in the IoT industry
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to travel as required
* Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools
