Role: Business Development ManagerLocation: Brussels
Role OverviewReporting to the Head of Sales, you will receive onboarding support during your first months in close collaboration with the sales, marketing, legal, and technical teams.Working cross-functionally, you will contribute to expanding the company's business activities by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients.
As the primary point of contact for customers, this role also involves travel mainly within Europe and occasionally internationally.
This is a full-time position based in Belgium.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and manage new business opportunitiesMaintain and grow relationships with clients and strategic partnersCollaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutionsContribute to commercial strategy and long-term market developmentSupport contract discussions in coordination with legal and technical stakeholders
Profile & QualificationsStrong interest in technology, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and translate them into practical, value-driven solutionsSolid engineer foundation (engineering degree or equivalent experience)5-10+ years of sales experience in an industrial or technical environmentExperience in selling complex products, customized or solution-based products/services.Strong commercial drive with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPersistent and resilient, with the ability to manage long sales cyclesCreative thinker who proactively identifies improvements and efficienciesFluent in English and French is a plus.Proficient in standard office software tools
