Job Description
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be the bridge between business needs and technical execution. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will own the product backlog, define priorities, and ensure that the Tech team delivers high-impact features aligned with Optima’s strategic goals. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to translate complex ad-tech challenges into clear, actionable product requirements.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with the CTO and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog. Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
Sprint Planning & Delivery: Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure the team delivers on commitments and maintains a sustainable development pace.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the Tech team and internal stakeholders (Commercial, AdOps, Publishers, Finance). Translate business requirements into technical tasks and communicate progress, trade-offs, and timelines.
Technical Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the development team to ensure feasibility, identify dependencies, and resolve blockers. Participate in architecture and design discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role in a tech or ad-tech environment.
Strong knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem: programmatic, ad serving, header bidding, SSPs, DSPs, and publisher monetization.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, define KPIs, and make evidence-based decisions.
Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion, Confluence).
Outstanding communication skills — able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences with clarity.
Proactive, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
