In Portugal we are a sales subsidiary of the Daikin Europe Group and, at the moment, we intend to strengthen our local team! We have an excellent professional development opportunity for a Service Sales Engineer (M/F)
Reporting directly to the Supervisor of the Service Business Department, the selected person will have the following functions:
1. Monitor a portfolio of clients, understand and investigate market potential, trends and customer needs to develop a solid approach to sales and attracting new customers.
2. Monthly/annual monitoring and management of sales results and definition of specific actions to achieve objectives.
3. Generate business opportunities, create commercial proposals, follow up on opportunities, negotiate and close them.
Our ideal candidate:
4. Higher education in Mechanical Engineering or similar and 5 years of experience in the function (commercial after-sales services). More junior candidates may also be considered.
5. Knowledge and/or experience with Hydronic Systems (HVAC) will be an asset.
6. Excellent communication skills and ease in interpersonal relationships, creating lasting relationships with customers.
7. Positive attitude with a results-oriented personality and a clear and structured approach to the business.
8. Ability to think and define short, medium and long-term business strategies based on traditional services, seeking to add new services to the portfolio.
9. High degree of autonomy, responsibility in setting realistic objectives and deadlines, and rigor in the follow-up of activities to obtain results.
