This role combines financial modeling, valuation analysis, and operational execution to evaluate acquisition opportunities and ensure successful integration into Deel’s financial, regulatory, and operational infrastructure. /h3 pGiven Deel’s global fintech platform, the role requires the ability to assess transactions across multiple dimensions including tax structures, payment flows, regulatory frameworks, and legal considerations. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liEvaluate potential acquisition opportunities aligned with Deel’s strategic objectives. /li liBuild and maintain financial models to assess transaction economics and investment returns. /li liPerform company valuation analysis including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and football field valuations. /li liSupport due diligence processes including financial, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal analysis. /li liAnalyze target company financial statements, revenue models, and cost structures. /li liPrepare internal investment materials, financial analyses, and decision‑support presentations for leadership. /li liAssess cross‑border tax structures, payments infrastructure, regulatory licensing requirements, and legal entity implications of potential acquisitions. /li liCoordinate closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product teams during transaction evaluation. /li liSupport negotiation and structuring of acquisition transactions in collaboration with internal and external advisors. /li liDevelop integration plans for acquired businesses across financial reporting, systems, and operational processes. /li liAlign acquired entities with Deel’s accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and internal controls. /li liSupport integration of financial systems, ERP structures, and reporting processes. /li liMonitor post‑acquisition integration progress and identify operational or financial risks. /li liIdentify process improvements and operational synergies following acquisitions. /li liMaintain documentation and analysis supporting strategic transaction decisions. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul li4–7 years of experience in MA, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory. /li liStrong financial modeling and valuation experience. /li liExperience building DCF models, multiples analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and football field valuations. /li liUnderstanding of cross‑border tax considerations, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks. /li liLegal and tax background is preferred; CPA qualification is a strong advantage. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. /li liAbility to manage complex cross‑functional projects. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. /li /ul h3Total Rewards /h3 pOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
