The OpportunityAs Finance Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of a rapidly scaling, regulated business. You will act as a key partner to the executive team, driving performance, governance, and long-term value creation.This is a highly visible leadership role with a clear path toward CFO.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full finance function, including accounting, controlling, FP&A, and treasuryOwn financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planningPartner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decisions, growth initiatives, and investmentsEnsure robust financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAPDrive performance insights, profitability analysis, and KPI trackingLead and develop a high-performing finance teamStrengthen internal controls, risk management, and regulatory complianceSupport fundraising, investor relations, and board-level reportingOptimize systems, processes, and data infrastructure to scale the finance function
QualificationsMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar10–15+ years of experience, with a foundation in audit or accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred)Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director / Head of Finance / VP Finance)Strong expertise in IFRS and working within regulated environmentsExperience in fintech, financial services, or SaaS is highly desirableTrack record of business partnering and influencing senior stakeholdersStrategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilityExcellent leadership and communication skillsFluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus)
