Intro:
For a client in Antwerp we are looking for an experienced Power Management System Supervisor. In this key role, you will be responsible for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Power Management System (PMS) within electrical substations. You will ensure that all systems are safely, correctly, and in accordance with design specifications brought into operation.
Function-information:
Develop PMS loop check and interface plans
Coordinate commissioning activities with engineers and multidisciplinary teams
Review vendor test procedures
Supervise vendors and subcontractors during electrical testing
Manage interfaces, loop checks, and interlocks between:
power distribution
transformers
HV/LV switchgear
emergency diesel generators (EDGs) and PMS
Coordinate PMS integration tests
Identify, resolve, and report technical issues (NCRs)
Prepare and maintain commissioning reports and documentation
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Support final acceptance and handover to operations
Function-requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Extensive experience in
* commissioning of electrical substations
* Power Management Systems (PMS)
* high- and low-voltage installations
* extra-high voltage systems (up to 400 kV)
* DCS systems (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Hitachi)
Strong knowledge of:
* power distribution
* transformers and EDGs
* control systems and instrumentation
* interfaces and loop checks
You are:
