Our client, a leading player in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a Junior Business Controller to strengthen their Finance team.
This role offers exposure to key financial processes and collaboration across departments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Support monthly closings, cost allocations, and variance analysis
Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting with key functions (Operations, R&D, Commercial)
Maintain and update financial dashboards and performance KPIs
Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and deliver insights to management
Track and report costs, revenues, and margins on internal and client projects
Analyze COGS, CAPEX, and overheads for cost control
Deliver ad hoc financial analyses (e.g., pricing, profitability, scenario modeling)
Ensure financial data accuracy by working closely with cross-functional teams
Contribute to ERP enhancements to improve financial operations scalability
Profile
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
1 to 3 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, audit, or finance — ideally in life sciences
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Sound knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS
Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong business acumen
Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a strong asset
