We are working with a leading provider of custom silicon design services to recruit an experienced Physical ASIC Design Implementation Engineer for a 12-month contract assignment
.This is a hands-on backend role covering full P&R flows from netlist-in to GDSII-out, across both top-level chips and block-level implementations. You will work across a broad technology range from N2 to 180nm, with Cadence Innovus at the centre of the flow
.

leYou will take ownership of the complete Cadence Innovus Place and Route flow and act as a direct technical interface with external customers. Responsibilities include leading SDC partitioning and timing budget allocation across sub-blocks, driving signoff closure through the full chip design cycle, and providing technical guidance on customer specification
s.
Required skills and experie
* nceYou will need proven experience across the followi
* ng:Flow setup for specific library sets and foundry nodes, including low power design (UPF) and SDC debug. Floorplanning and power grid design at both top level and block level. Place, CTS, and routing. Setup and hold violation resolution. Signoff extraction (SPEF/Quantus), timing (Tempus), and power analysis (Voltus). Physical verification including DRC, ERC, LVS, antenna checks, and logic equivalence checki
