Position Overview:
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead the digital transformation and technology strategy of the manufacturing organization, with a particular focus on leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 to optimize business operations, supply chain, production efficiency, and decision-making. The CIO will be responsible for ensuring that technology investments align with business objectives, drive innovation, and enhance competitive advantage within the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
 * Develop and execute the organization’s IT and digital transformation strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
 * Drive the successful implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and related modules.
 * Provide visionary leadership to ensure technology enables smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and data-driven decision-making.
 * Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for automation, AI, IoT, and predictive analytics.
Technology Governance & Management
 * Oversee the IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and cloud architecture across all manufacturing facilities.
 * Ensure high system reliability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
 * Establish and enforce IT governance policies, standard operating procedures, and service level agreements.
 * Manage vendor relationships, technology contracts, and system integrations (including MES, PLM, and CRM systems).
D365 Ownership & Optimization
 * Serve as the executive sponsor for Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring alignment between system capabilities and business processes.
 * Lead cross-functional collaboration to enhance D365 workflows across manufacturing, inventory management, finance, procurement, and customer service.
 * Champion user adoption, training, and change management for D365 across the enterprise.
 * Monitor system performance and ROI, identifying opportunities for additional module deployment or Power Platform integration (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Team Leadership
 * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT and ERP team.
 * Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 * Partner with business units to translate operational needs into technology solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
 * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management (Master’s preferred).
 * Minimum 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
 * Proven success in implementing and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / SCM or similar ERP platforms.
 * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, supply chain, quality management, and maintenance.
 * Experience with cloud technologies (Azure), cybersecurity frameworks, and data analytics platforms.
 * Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and budgets.
 * Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
