Job Ad: Field Service Engineer
We're looking for a Field Service Engineer who enjoys being on the road, solving technical issues, and keeping essential equipment running smoothly.
Your Role
You install, maintain, and repair a variety of technical devices such as kiosks, scanners, vending systems, access control units, and radio terminals. Your mission: ensure maximum uptime and reliable performance.
What You'll Do
* Diagnose and repair technical issues within SLA/OLA deadlines
* Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule
* Provide remote support using dedicated tools
* Install, configure, and test new devices
* Keep your service vehicle stocked with spare parts
* Communicate with dispatch, users, and suppliers
* Follow safety procedures and support process improvements
What You Bring
* 1-2+ years of experience as a field/service technician
* Good understanding of IT & electronics (hardware, OS installs, Microsoft environment)
* Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
* Driver's license B + willingness to work mostly on the road
* Dutch or French + good English understanding
