Senior Solution Architect
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a large-scale, enterprise environment focused on communication and content platforms. You will play a critical role in designing and evolving architecture that supports document generation, distribution, orchestration, and archiving across multiple business domains.
This is a transversal role with high visibility, requiring close collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into end-to-end architectural solutions
* Analyze and challenge functional needs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
* Design and document system interactions, workflows, and business processes (UML, architecture diagrams)
* Define target architecture and assess impact on existing systems
* Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure feasibility
* Ensure scalability, sustainability, and consistency across solutions
* Identify risks, dependencies, and contribute to architectural roadmaps
* Promote alignment and knowledge sharing across teams
Required Experience
Architecture & Technical Expertise
* Strong experience with modern architecture principles (DDD, API-driven design, BPM, orchestration)
* Expertise in integration architectures (REST APIs, messaging, event-driven systems)
* Proven experience with UML and architecture modeling tools (ArchiMate is a plus)
* Solid experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
Professional Background
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect and/or Functional Architect
* Experience in complex, enterprise IT environments with legacy and distributed systems
* Strong track record in end-to-end solution design

* Excellent communication abilities
* Ability to bridge business and IT and influence architectural decisions
Languages
* English: Fluent (mandatory)
* Dutch: fluent (preferred)
* French: fluent (preferred)
