NMBS is undergoing a company-wide transformation through the shERPa program, implementing SAP S/4HANA as a greenfield solution. This program aims to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and enable digital transformation across all business units.
Job Purpose
The Customer Master Data Assistant will fill up the void (‘back filling’) left by the Customer Master Data Manager during his time spent on Sherpa project. At the business side you will be part of a small but important team: B-CS.34 Customer Master Data & Privacy. Under supervision of the remaining Customer Master Data Manager ‘Privacy’, and a training on the job, the Assistant will assist on cutting back on the existing backlog in Privacy related requests in SAP CRM. The remaining time, if any, will be consumed by activities in the Data Quality and Multiple Cleansing areas.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Privacy Management (supervised)
Treat incoming Privacy related requests in line with the existing procedures and GDPR legislation
Time management and prioritizing
Follow-up with all stakeholders
Direct report to Customer Data manager
Data Quality
Treat incoming requests in line with the existing procedures and instruction
Multiple Cleansing
Treat incoming requests (‘Cleansing on demand’) and automatically generated cleansing cases in line with the existing procedures and instructions
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Demonstrated experience in roles involving time-bound deliverables (e.g. reporting, operations, data processing, project coordination)
Experience with mention of secure environments or confidential processing
Proof of ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Experience
CONFORMITY CRITERIA (Yes/No):
At least a Bachelor’s degree (in Business or Economics)
Proven experience (2-5 years) on SAP-CRM ‘on premise’, from a business user point of view
Proven knowledge of GDPR following Belgian Law of 25/05/18.
(C1/C2) (written & spoken) in Dutch or French
Experience in a comparable function (confidentiality!) is a clear (2-5 year)
Experience in working in a public company (2-5 year)in regulated, procedural, or compliance-driven environments
