Transport and Logistics Specialist
Why we need you – About the role
The Transport & Logistics Specialist manages daily freight operations and carrier performance to ensure On-Time-In-Full delivery to customers. The role coordinates closely with Customer Service, Warehousing, and Supply Chain while monitoring transport costs, managing exceptions, and identifying logistics improvements.
What will be your impact: Key Responsibilities
Transport Operations
* Plan and coordinate daily shipments with warehouses and freight forwarders
* Monitor shipment status and manage transport exceptions
* Ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) deliveries
* Provide proactive communication in case of disruptions
Freight Cost Management
* Audit freight invoices
* Manage freight cost approvals and claims
* Track freight profitability
Transport Analysis & Optimization
* Analyze transport flows and identify improvement opportunities
* Monitor carrier performance and KPIs
* Provide cost and performance analysis
* Monitor developments in the transport market
Documentation & Compliance
* Prepare import/export documentation (CMR, Certificates of Origin, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with Incoterms and global trade regulations
What we are looking for: Experience, Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Business school /Logistics/Transportation or equivalent of work experience
* 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Freight or Carrier performance management, advanced knowledge of Transport management and analysis
* Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze transport cost and shipment data in Excel
* Autonomous and rigorous, you are known for your great interpersonal skills and your mastery of customer relations
* Ability to map order and logistics flow
* Knowledge of Global Trade Compliance & Incoterms
* Knowledge of Odoo is an advantage
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
* Fluent English is a must. Additional languages are a big plus!
