About the Role
* Design and model next-gen silicon photonic components and circuits.

This is a high-impact role, guiding innovation from initial concept through to New Product Introduction (NPI). The successful candidate will lead key R&D initiatives with clear paths to product commercialization.
The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in silicon photonics and III-V component design/testing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Modeling and simulation of photonic devices using tools such as Photon Design, Lumerical, COMSOL, and CST.
* Laying out photonic circuits using Tanner L-Edit and Luceda Ipkiss.
* Programming skills in Python and familiarity with VPI software are highly desirable.
